27  King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou ^abelievest.

  14  And I said unto him: What am I that I should tempt God to show unto thee a sign in the thing which thou knowest to be ^btrue? Yet thou wilt deny it, because thou art of the devil. Nevertheless, not my will be done; but if God shall smite thee, let that be a sign unto thee that he has power, both in heaven and in earth; and also, that Christ shall come. And thy will, O Lord, be done, and not mine.

  30  Know ye not that I speak the ^atruth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God.

  52  And Korihor put forth his hand and wrote, saying: I know that I am dumb, for I cannot speak; and I know that nothing save it were the power of God could bring this upon me; yea, and I always ^bknew that there was a God.

  10  For they prophesy a ^alie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

  3  For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

  4  God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a ^bliar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

  32  But, O my people, beware lest there shall arise contentions among you, and ye list to obey the evil spirit, which was spoken of by my father Mosiah.

  14  But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

  39  O, my beloved brethren, remember the awfulness in transgressing against that Holy God, and also the awfulness of yielding to the enticings of that ^bcunning one. Remember, to be carnally-minded is death, and to be spiritually-minded is life eternal.

  21  And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well—and thus the ^cdevil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell.

  8  And now, my beloved brethren, I perceive that ye ponder still in your hearts; and it grieveth me that I must speak concerning this thing. For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray, ye would know that ye must pray; for the ^devil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray.
