Alma 37:7  
 7 And the Lord God doth work by ameans to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very bsmall means the Lord doth cconfound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.

  27  And there was not a wicked man slain among them; but there were more than a thousand brought to the knowledge of the truth; thus we see that the Lord worketh in many aways to the salvation of his people.

  13  And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some agreat thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

  41  Nevertheless, because those miracles were worked by asmall means it did show unto them marvelous works. They were slothful, and forgot to exercise their faith and diligence and then those marvelous works ceased, and they did not progress in their journey;

  27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to bconfound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

  58  To prepare the weak for those things which are coming on the earth, and for the Lord's errand in the day when the weak shall cconfound the wise, and the little one become a strong nation, and two shall put their tens of thousands to flight.
