D&C 46:7  
 7 But ye are commanded in all things to aask of God, who giveth liberally; and that which the Spirit testifies unto you even so I would that ye should do in all bholiness of heart, walking uprightly before me, cconsidering the end of your salvation, doing all things with prayer and dthanksgiving, that ye may not be eseduced by evil fspirits, or doctrines of devils, or the gcommandments of men; for some are of men, and others of devils.

  5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

  11  And if thou wilt ainquire, thou shalt know mysteries which are great and marvelous; therefore thou shalt exercise thy gift, that thou mayest find out mysteries, that thou mayest bring many to the knowledge of the truth, yea, convince them of the error of their ways.

  62  And again, verily I say unto you, my friends, I leave these sayings with you to ponder in your hearts, with this commandment which I give unto you, that ye shall dcall upon me while I am near—

  23  In case of difficulty respecting doctrine or principle, if there is not a sufficiency written to make the case clear to the minds of the council, the president may inquire and obtain the mind of the Lord by revelation.

  1  I will abless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

  30  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with athanksgiving.

  38  That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in dthanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you.

  1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

  11  And again, thou shalt take thy brother, Hiram Page, between him and thee alone, and tell him that those things which he hath written from that stone are not of me and that Satan ddeceiveth him;

  6  And this I give unto you that you may not be adeceived, that you may know they are not of me.

  22  Which all are to perish with the using;) after the acommandments and doctrines of men?

  14  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and bcommandments of men, that turn from the truth.

  6  And behold, how oft you have transgressed the commandments and the laws of God, and have gone on in the cpersuasions of men.
