4  As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto ^bidols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

  3  Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other ^bgods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.
