28  Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two ^bcalves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

  21  ^aThou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

  3  For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the ^chost of heaven, and served them.

  2  As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto ^bBaalim, and burned incense to graven images.
