3  So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the Lord: and they anointed ^bDavid king over Israel.

  23  And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to ^aDavid to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the Lord.

  16  But all Israel and ^aJudah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.

  5  In Hebron he reigned over ^aJudah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
