7  They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of ^bCyrus king of Persia.

  23  Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an ^ahouse in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.

  28  That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the ^etemple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
