13  And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to ^ajudge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

  18  And the ^ajudges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

  11  Therefore I will be your king the remainder of my days; nevertheless, let us appoint ^bjudges, to judge this people according to our law; and we will newly arrange the affairs of this people, for we will appoint wise men to be judges, that will judge this people according to the commandments of God.

  3  We believe that all governments necessarily require ^acivil officers and magistrates to enforce the laws of the same; and that such as will administer the law in equity and justice should be sought for and upheld by the voice of the people if a republic, or the will of the sovereign.

  20  And thou shalt ^ateach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

  81  Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to ^bwarn his neighbor.
