18  The ^aSpirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

  34  For he whom God hath sent ^aspeaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

  15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to ^erevive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

  25  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall ^bhear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

  8  "By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in ^aprison;

  42  And Isaiah, who declared by prophecy that the Redeemer was anointed to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the ^bcaptives, and the opening of the prison to them that were bound, were also there.

  2  And the ^aSpirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

  18  While this vast multitude waited and conversed, rejoicing in the hour of their deliverance from the chains of death, the Son of God appeared, declaring liberty to the ^ccaptives who had been faithful;
