17  Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who ^aslew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.

  18  If I go forth into the field, then behold the ^aslain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.

  43  Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast ^aslain, thou hast not pitied.
