19  And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their ^afathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

  51  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your ^efathers did, so do ye.

  25  And now when ye talk, ye say: If our days had been in the days of our ^afathers of old, we would not have slain the prophets; we would not have stoned them, and cast them out.

  3  For I have suffered them thus far, that they might ^afill up the measure of their iniquities, that their cup might be full;
