4  And thou hast beheld in thy youth his glory; wherefore, thou art blessed even as they unto whom he shall minister in the flesh; for the Spirit is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. And the way is prepared from the fall of man, and salvation is free.

  3  And my brother, Jacob, also has ^aseen him as I have seen him; wherefore, I will send their words forth unto my children to prove unto them that my words are true. Wherefore, by the words of three, God hath said, I will establish my word. Nevertheless, God sendeth more witnesses, and he proveth all his words.

  19  For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the ^cangel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

  5  And he had hope to shake me from the faith, notwithstanding the many ^arevelations and the many things which I had seen concerning these things; for I truly had seen angels, and they had ministered unto me. And also, I had heard the voice of the Lord speaking unto me in very word, from time to time; wherefore, I could not be shaken.

  22  For behold, God knowing all things, being from everlasting to everlasting, behold, he sent ^cangels to minister unto the children of men, to make manifest concerning the coming of Christ; and in Christ there should come every good thing.

  31  Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are ^awritten by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

  33  And I, Nephi, saw that he was ^alifted up upon the cross and slain for the sins of the world.

  9  And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shall consider him a man, and say that he hath a devil, and shall ^dscourge him, and shall crucify him.

  22  Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be ^acrucified.

  2  And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might ^ckill him; for they feared the people.

  23  And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be ^ccrucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

  10  And the ^aGod of our fathers, who were led out of Egypt, out of bondage, and also were preserved in the wilderness by him, yea, the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, yieldeth himself, according to the words of the angel, as a man, into the hands of wicked men, to be lifted up, according to the words of Zenock, and to be crucified, according to the words of Neum, and to be buried in a sepulchre, according to the words of Zenos, which he spake concerning the three days of darkness, which should be a sign given of his death unto those who should inhabit the isles of the sea, more especially given unto those who are of the house of Israel.

  12  And as I spake concerning the convincing of the Jews, that Jesus is the very Christ, it must needs be that the Gentiles be convinced also that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal ^eGod;
