1  Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for ^apraise is comely for the upright.

  7  Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

  4  And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

  19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

  16  Nevertheless, I did look unto my God, and I did ^apraise him all the day long; and I did not murmur against the Lord because of mine afflictions.

  20  I say unto you, my brethren, that if you should render all the thanks and ^bpraise which your whole soul has power to possess, to that God who has created you, and has kept and preserved you, and has caused that ye should rejoice, and has granted that ye should live in peace one with another—

  8  Blessed be the name of our God; let us sing to his praise, yea, let us give thanks to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.

  11  And it shall be given thee, also, to make a selection of sacred hymns, as it shall be given thee, which is pleasing unto me, to be had in my church.

  79  And also this church, to put upon it thy name. And help us by the power of thy Spirit, that we may mingle our voices with those bright, shining seraphs around thy throne, with acclamations of ^dpraise, singing Hosanna to God and the Lamb!

  14  And David ^adanced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

  13  It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and ^athanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

  13  For a place of thanksgiving for all saints, and for a place of instruction for all those who are called to the work of the ministry in all their several callings and offices;

  35  And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I ^apraise the Lord: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.
