15  Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a ^bwhoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

  2  Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy ^awhoredoms and with thy wickedness.

  1  Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a ^awhoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.

  37  Yea, wo unto those that worship idols, for the devil of all devils delighteth in them.

  6  But behold, I trust that ye are not in a state of so much unbelief as were your brethren; I trust that ye are not lifted up in the pride of your hearts; yea, I trust that ye have not set your hearts upon riches and the vain things of the world; yea, I trust that you do not worship idols, but that ye do worship the true and the living God, and that ye look forward for the remission of your sins, with an everlasting faith, which is to come.

  1  And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never ^abreak my covenant with you.
