22:21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass=hlgree>ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

 22:22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass=hlgree>ass, and his two servants were with him.

 22:23 And the ass=hlgree>ass saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass=hlgree>ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass=hlgree>ass, to turn her into the way.

 22:24 But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

 22:25 And when the ass=hlgree>ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.

 22:26 And the angel of the Lord went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

 22:27 And when the ass=hlgree>ass saw the angel of the Lord, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass=hlgree>ass with a staff.

 22:28 And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass=hlgree>ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

 22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass=hlgree>ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

 22:30 And the ass=hlgree>ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass=hlgree>ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

 22:31 Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

 22:32 And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass=hlgree>ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:

 22:33 And the ass=hlgree>ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.

 13:27 And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass=hlgree>ass. And they saddled him.

 13:28 And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass=hlgree>ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass=hlgree>ass.

 13:29 And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass=hlgree>ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

 15:15 And he found a new jawbone of an ass=hlgree>ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

 15:16 And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass=hlgree>ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass=hlgree>ass have I slain a thousand men.

 21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass=hlgree>ass, and a colt the foal of an ass=hlgree>ass.

 21:6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

 21:7 And brought the ass=hlgree>ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

 22:10 If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass=hlgree>ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

 23:4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass=hlgree>ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

 23:5 If thou see the ass=hlgree>ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

 22:3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass=hlgree>ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

 22:4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass=hlgree>ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

 13:23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass=hlgree>ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

 13:24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass=hlgree>ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

 12:14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass=hlgree>ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

 12:15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass=hlgree>ass's colt.
