3  As for Saul, he made ^ahavoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

  4  And thus did the Spirit of the Lord work upon them, for they were the very ^avilest of sinners. And the Lord saw fit in his infinite mercy to spare them; nevertheless they suffered much anguish of soul because of their iniquities, suffering much and fearing that they should be cast off forever.

  18  Behold, we went forth even in wrath, with mighty threatenings to ^adestroy his church.

  6  For I went about with the sons of Mosiah, seeking to ^adestroy the church of God; but behold, God sent his holy angel to stop us by the way.
