6  And it came to pass that I beheld this ^agreat and abominable church; and I saw the devil that he was the founder of it.

  5  And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the ^cMother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.

  8  And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her ^dfornication.

  38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the ^atares are the children of the wicked one;

  24  For after today cometh the burning—this is speaking after the manner of the Lord—for verily I say, tomorrow all the proud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will burn them up, for I am the Lord of Hosts; and I will not spare any that remain in Babylon.

  24  And every corruptible thing, both of man, or of the beasts of the field, or of the fowls of the heavens, or of the fish of the sea, that dwells upon all the face of the earth, shall be ^bconsumed;

  9  For the hour is nigh and the day soon at hand when the earth is ripe; and all the proud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will ^dburn them up, saith the Lord of Hosts, that wickedness shall not be upon the earth;

  12  Which causeth silence to reign, and all eternity is pained, and the angels are waiting the great command to reap down the earth, to gather the ^ftares that they may be burned; and, behold, the enemy is combined.

  57  For they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived—verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the ^cfire, but shall abide the day.

  34  And the saints also shall hardly escape; nevertheless, I, the Lord, am with them, and will come down in heaven from the presence of my Father and ^econsume the wicked with unquenchable fire.
