3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of ^eJesus Christ from the dead,

  20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he ^araised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

  8  Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the ^cresurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.

  2  Behold, I say unto you, that there is no resurrection—or, I would say, in other words, that this mortal does not put on immortality, this corruption does not put on incorruption—^cuntil after the coming of Christ.

  5  I saw Father Adam and Abraham; and my father and my mother; my brother Alvin, that has long since ^eslept;
