4  For it is impossible for those who were once ^aenlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

  28  And after they had ^atasted of the fruit they were ashamed, because of those that were scoffing at them; and they fell away into forbidden paths and were lost.

  8  I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn ^bagain to folly.

  26  But if he doeth it ^aagain, he shall not be forgiven, but shall be cast out.

  11  Lest ^aSatan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

  5  After it was truly manifested unto this first elder that he had received a remission of his sins, he was ^bentangled again in the vanities of the world;

  35  Having ^adenied the Holy Spirit after having received it, and having denied the Only Begotten Son of the Father, having crucified him unto themselves and put him to an open shame.

  30  And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness, and then have fallen away into sin and transgression, they become more hardened, and thus their state becomes ^fworse than though they had never known these things.
