  34  And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly adestroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

  21  And they utterly adestroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

  24  And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the Lord thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to adestroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

  57  And now I say unto you, all you that are desirous to follow the voice of the good shepherd, come ye out from the wicked, and be ye separate, and touch not their unclean things; and behold, their names shall be blotted out, that the names of the wicked shall not be numbered among the names of the righteous, that the word of God may be fulfilled, which saith: The names of the wicked shall not be mingled with the names of my people;

  32  Thou shalt make no acovenant with them, nor with their gods.
