8  If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of ^ccontroversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the Lord thy God shall choose;

  15  For behold, my brethren, it is given unto you to ^ajudge, that ye may know good from evil; and the way to judge is as plain, that ye may know with a perfect knowledge, as the daylight is from the dark night.

  1  If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto ^bjudgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

  27  But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the ^asabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

  26  Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my ^dsabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
