12  And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your ^bfoundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

  1  His ^afoundation is in the holy mountains.

  6  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner ^bstone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

  8  And a stone of ^bstumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

  16  But behold, according to the scriptures, this stone shall become the great, and the last, and the only sure ^bfoundation, upon which the Jews can build.
