6  And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used ^benchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

  15  Wherefore, for this cause, that my covenants may be fulfilled which I have made unto the children of men, that I will do unto them while they are in the flesh, I must needs destroy the ^bsecret works of darkness, and of murders, and of abominations.

  22  And there are also secret combinations, even as in times of old, according to the combinations of the devil, for he is the founder of all these things; yea, the founder of murder, and ^cworks of darkness; yea, and he leadeth them by the neck with a flaxen cord, until he bindeth them with his strong cords forever.

  14  For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto ^bobservers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

  13  Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the ^bmonthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
